The project is divided into 13 workpackes (WPs). It includes specialized disciplinary WPs (2–4) to be conducted in parallel with application WPs (5‑8). The integration of these 7 WPs is ensured by a systems engineering and architecture work package (WP1). A widely distributed dissemination plan together with training and demonstration aim at informing large numbers of growers, industries, and academics (WPs 9–11). Focus on economics, social acceptance and exploitation will ensure that all the factors affecting the introduction of automation and robotics into agriculture are taken into account (WP12).The management and coordination work package (WP13) will be responsible for the implementation of all aspects of the project strategy.
